Me 50 lbs heavier and doing my take on a half-time shuffle.

Me 50lbs lighter, a couple years later getting my chops back up with heavier sticks (did 3 rounds with MS4's before this take so my arms were burning!!!)



Comment and critique! I wanna get lessons here in nyc to better my hands and rudiments!

I would try to play the ghosts notes on snare as quietly as possible (the tri and the plet ) and the main hit on snare louder . Just my $.02

the first video was veeeeeeeeeeeery cool, I loved those ghost notes and it doesnt matter to me that they were as loud, IMHO it fitted perfectly

Thanks, I agree! The main Idea with my shuffle variation is for the "two drummer" sound. I'm still trying to get he "let-1" shuffle faster with my right hand, as I am naturally left handed but playing righty. This groove is a killer workout. I'm working on getting a triple (2 trip-let/4 trip-let) stroke for the back beats to add to the ghost note madness.


Saw your vid/band---cool stuff, great groove! But what got me most was the video production...very very nice presentation of the band.
