Default Casio Drumsticks?!

What in the world are those? do you use them on an electronic drumset? wouldnt the cables get in the way?

From memory they were an add on to Casio keyboards. They plug into the keyboard and sensors in the sticks allow sampled drum sounds to be heard by playing on any surface.

It makes sense, but it kinda seems like it would be useless, as e-drums, or even using the trigger to play the drums would be easier.

The most baffling part of the ads is that it says you could "use as intended or as regular synthetics"

Realistically, they are more akin to a toy than they are to an instrument. They weren't designed to compete with e-kits......even back in the 80's when these things were in their heyday. They were designed for the home entusiast to plug into his cheap Casio keyboard and have some fun with.

Don't think about them in too modern a way mate. If they are what I think they are, they are a throw back to the past. Of course there are better alternatives today......just like there are more modern alternatives to video games like Pong or Space Invaders. :-)
