Default Limited Edition Pearl VBL (Gloss Walnut)

Hey everyone!

Yes! My brand new kit arrived yesterday, and oh boy does it look gorgeous. I haven't finished setting up yet but I did check everything, which I must say I'm pretty impress with the build quality and hardware.

As I promised earlier, I have uploaded two pictures of my kit's finally setup. The next step now is to upgrade the Pearl drumheads, and maybe changed the ISS Mount to an Optimount. I'm not too sure about upgrading the mount yet, so what do you guys think???

That's my kinda finish, looks so classy.

12, 14, 18, 14 snare?

For me, I'd lose the mount entirely and get a snare stand.

A chrome blanking plate would complete the look, too.

yep you guessed the right size, I just love how professional the drums look. Suspending the tom with a snare stand is a preference for many, but I prefer the tradition way of mounting from a bass drum. I don't know i just like it that way

Great shells.

I would upgrade the mount, though. I'm not a huge fan of the ISS 'system'. In fact, I had to contend with it this evening at a band rehearsal. I can't stand it!

Yes yes yes ....get the opti mount , lose the ISIS mount right away.

Better yet, there are two types of opti mount - get the all chrome ones with the round vertical stock instead of the ones with the flat black stock.
Walnut + chrome. Nice.
