Default VRUK?

Is there anyone using VRUK?

http://www.vrukpedal.com/index.html

I've just ordered one as their current deal is good.

I have not seen these before.

Is it a pedal modification so a normal pedal works like a Sonor Giant Step Twin Effect pedal?

Yes it looks similar to the Sonor pedal. Here is a video that explains it all... http://youtu.be/CShaH9m_cEE

Cozy Powell was heavily involved in the development of the original prototypes before his death.

Rather odly the video appears to be narrated by Prof Stephen Hawking!

I wonder how it sounds on a real bass drum. Doesn't look all that powerful. Interesting to hear what you think of it!

I have one. It is pretty cool. All it does is basically extend the length of the board. I use mine all the time. The heel portion of your stroke is where you'll notice the biggest benefit. I wear a size 15 shoe ( US) and , even though my drum teacher says foot size doesn't matter, when I have my Vruk hooked up, it's way better....

It's powerful. Just like a regular stroke. These htings really are nice. Good invention, great idea.
