Default Drums without music

Went for a practice today but forgot my mp3-player, so nothing to play along to. I find that not easy.

Recorded this; excuse the BPM variation as I settled in..

Constructive criticism welcome.

Nice control and feel at low volume.

Thanks! I'm in the inner west and as you'd know its population density appreciates "quiet" drummers!

I was in Stanmore until a few years ago. We may have crossed paths.

I tried getting an e-kit but it was too loud too (and it sucked). For the most part I rarely picked up a stick in anger while living there, apart from rehearsals.

Very enjoyable. There's something about ultra stripped back that draws me in every time :)

It wasn't planned or rehearsed or such, actually has taken me years before daring to submit anything.. Glad you liked it, always enjoy your vids!

I've no idea why, you play really well :) Not easy getting flow on a rock/pop beat at such low dynamic. You have a good touch!

Thanks for your feedback, first time soliciting feedback from ilk so a bit nervous; never had a teacher so conscious I'm probably technically fairly challenged..

Hahaha, I'm technically challenged big time. Never held me back from getting work. Just enjoy doing what you do, & everything else will fall into place. The bottom line is, do you sound good? if the answer is yes, everything else is irrelevant.
