amazing! gary novak is one of my favorite drummers!
thanks for the transcript!

I need someone to help me transcribe the orchestration of gavin harrison in this video 2:05 to 2:09

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2nu1gAo6-g 2:05 to 2:09

I think the sticking RLRRL is used, but I can not determine the orchestration that uses.

Thanks!!

Hey guys! I am relatively new here to the forum and saw this thread on transcriptions. A couple weeks ago I saw this new drum solo by Dave Dicenso, and was wondering if any of you guys who are good with transcriptions could look at this solo and see what Dave's doing around 5:22 where he starts to go around the toms. I'm just curious if someone could transcribe some of this....if not enjoy this solo because it is awesome!!

Well, this solo is too long for transcribing, but a couple of years ago Lutz Mayer did a fantastic job, and transcribed some of DiCenso's solos:

Have fun with it! ;-)
By the way, Dave DiCenso is one of the greatests.
