Remo Ebony Pinstripe Heads

I saw these on musiciansfriend.com and they looked like what I wanted. My drum heads need to be replaced and I was wondering if these were good (for a budget) for a deep, punchy, heavy rock sound.

Might want to mention what kind of kit you play (make/model), sizes of your drums, where you're gonna mount these (kick only, kick and toms, batter, etc.), what kind of music you play, and where you play (in your room, in a band, on stage, mic'd/unmic'd, etc.)...other than that, I'd say "no, they won't work".

They work fine as long as they aren't Remo rejects. Iv'e used them many times in the house and with a live metal band mic'd and unmic'd. I never had a problem with not being heard. The last ones I used 2 years ago sucked because they weren't glued into the hoops evenly.
