Hi to all,

How can I tune my bass drum and snare for sounding like this, or at least as close as possible...

Hi, Cool clip. Looks to me like a 13" by 7" snare tuned very tight, a lot of his strokes are rim shots. The bass drum seems to be tuned tight and muffled. He is a great player as well. Just experiment with and see how go..

The snare is tuned tight with all overtones crushed (moon gel?). The BD is simply dampened and likely ported so that the duration is short short. A lot of the overall sound seems to be that it was recorded outdoors with an iPhone from behind the kit.

as a rule of thumb my snare and kick heads (batter and resonate) get two half turns up from finger tight then I go from there.

it's also an acrylic snare, which sort of lends itself to that sound.

Looks like an Ebony head with the shadows of the trees moving over them. I can also see what looks like a couple of round muffling gels on the head.

That looks like a nice cozy yard too...

I was thinking that it may be one of those Kevlar marching heads.
