Where to practice drums in London?

Hi guys,

I'm relocating to London in January and I need to find a place to practice drums. Essentially this will mean 2/3h a day in a drum booth, but I'm having a hard time finding a booth to rent.

Any tips?

Where in London? I know a cheap and cheerful place out east but its out near Ilford.

Thanks for the answer. Well, east london would be preferable. Is there such a thing as renting a drum booth long term?

This is where I used to go, although Barking is not the easiest place to get to without a car.

Its not plush by any means, although what rehearshal rooms are! But the owner is a drummer and he has a unit that is set up as a drum room, with a PA with headphones and speakers for playback and his pricing is good. If I remember rightly it was £20 for 3 hours.

I've lived in Shoreditch and Leytonstone and this was the best place I found for drums only practicing. Thats not to say there arn't others though

If you do find somewhere central do share it. I'd like to know!
