My new Maple Custom Absolute Nouveau. Colour is Sea Blue Fade

Shell sizes are 10x8, 12x9, 13x14, 15x14 & 20x18 Virgin Bass drum, 14x6.5 Brady Jarrah Block Snare. The odd size floor toms are awesome. The 15 is the best drum i've ever owned

Great looking Yamaha. And that snare--sweet! Is that a virgin bass drum? Did you have to special order that?
 
Yeah the whole kit was a custom order because of the odd size floor toms and virgin bass but it didnt take that long, about 15 weeks.
 
you should post those pics in the "your place / gear" and you'll get a lot more of this - a truly gorgeous kit man, enjoy!

Great looking kit. I have a Yamaha kit and have noticed a considerable amount of tone add to the rack toms since taking them off the bass drum. I would go as far to say that any recording I do in the future I will do with the toms off the kick drum. But for live situations I will most likely continue to mount them off the kick for convenience sake.
