pdx-8 or pd-85 for tom1 and tom2?

hi again,I have a TD-9 kit with pd-125 snare and pdx-100 floor tom. I've got a few questions for those of you with much more experience than I...
1) Should I go for the PDX-8 or the PD-85 for the tom1 and tom2? Why?
2)which of them is most bouncy?
3)which pads feel most like real acustic drums for tom's,general pdx-8 or pd-85 opinions.

I have 4 PD-85's on my kit, which work great. I prefer them to the PDX-8's. More solid construction than the PDX-8. Plus they have a center mounted piezo so they can work with modules that have positional sensing.

If you are in the market to buy toms, I am looking to sell some of my PD-85's. I'm looking to downsize my kit.

Well, the PDX-8 is a 10" pad, but the playing surface is still 8" like the PD-85. There is just a plastic trim ring around the outside of the pad. Also, the PDX-8 uses an offset cone, so it is not compatible with positional sensing. It can be used with modules that have positional sensing, but you will want to turn off the "positional sensing" option on the module so you don't get funky sounds when playing that pad.
