Jeff Ocheltree: John Bonham's drumkit

Your welcome brother! is an excellent refresher to improve.

Love John....love Jeff too.

The explanation of the bass drum tuning was a real eye-opener, same as the head choice for the Vistalite kit. I wish he'd have explained a little further into what "getting the sound to the middle" meant.

Thanks for sharing. I got something out of it.

there´s also a vid where a different dude actually plays the Green Sparle kit.

check You Tube.

Yeah, the Jeff Ocheltree - Trust Your Ears DVD ... these vid's might be a part of that ... good stuff.

Yes, those videos are available on Youtube but they don't have the good quality as Drummerworld!

Jeff's DVD is a good watch, fun, and the playing is good. Mark Romans does a great job in getting "the sound".
There's a few things that'd make someone say "oh yeah, why didn't I..." and "So THAT'S how..."

There's more to the DVD that just the Bonham oriented things too.
Worth the money to own.

I have the DVD, it is great, for techs or like me you just want to learn more about tuning. John Bonham is just a Small segment of the DVD, he talks with Danny Carey From tool, and you see a solo from him, there are too many drummers to mention in the DVD, from Dean Butterworth (when he was with Morrisey) to Steve Smith. I highly recomend it.

Interesting stuff, I wish he would have played the visalite though.
