Yep, same. Ditch Flash, or you're isolating mobile users.

I don't surf with a mobile phone so I'm fine with the site. It's professional, attractive and has good content.

However, the Flash in the site is slow. Maybe server issues, who knows?

Still, it could have easily been built with just HTML, CSS, Javascript and images ... for the uninitiated, that means it could have been made more simply, faster loading, more robust and more broadly compatible - without loss of aesthetics or functionality. Flash is great when you want to hit 'em with all the bells and whistles (though that's considered unsophisticated these days) but it can be more trouble than it's worth.

On the Services page, the scroll bar is not clear and can easily be interfered with by the WIX sliding link.

Don't mean to sound negative, Ale - your content is strong. Now it's just a matter of making it easy for people to access it.

Thank you so much for the feedback! it really helps!
u know... i never realized... that i would cut off all the mobile users... that really sucks..
and although simple.. i really had to work on this website to make it clear and nice..
i have no programming skills... so i would have to ask someone to re-do it in html..
do you think flash will ever be supported on ipad or mobile users in general?
i have worked on the transitions and i think it's now faster! please check it out and let me know if you can!

thank you so much for taking the time!

ps: and yes... i hate that scroll bar... i'll do something about it!

Im not on a movile phone- I am on an Ipad and apple has some licensing issue with adobe so no Ipad device can see your site.

Seriously frustrating for surfing the net. I cant see any videos on DW main site....

I have no problems viewing the content on the DW front page. I have my Flash disabled and can view the videos just fine. I'll get hold of the iPad later and have a look.

Incidentally, it's not a licence issue. Steve Jobs had a lot of things to say about Adobe and Flash - to do with its effect on battery life and security weaknesses and so it isn't supported. Adobe have now stated that they will no longer update their mobile version of Flash on all platforms so the Internet will start to move away from Flash-based content.

Adobe has no choice. It has to lighten Flash up and improve security. People aren't going to give up their mobile tech just because the animation is a tad less funky than on PCs. Flash will become increasingly marginal, like rock'n'roll ... it's like watching Darwinism in fast forward.

Hopefully HTML5 video standards will be agreed upon soon. Native support in-browser is the way forward.

Alessio, other than saying your site works fine for me, I have nothing to add about your site. However, viewing your bio compilation video again filled me with joy. I really think you must be my favourite musician posting on this forum. Although I have little opportunity to apply some of your playing pieces, I am utterly inspired by your talent. You have two of possibly the most valuable gifts a musician can have, a fine touch & great ears. I love your embracing of dynamic & textures, & if there's anything I can take from your example, it's those elements.

I'm not playing a genre that would benefit from your finer touches, & frankly, I don't have the skills to pull them off. All that said, my band's starting to work on some original stuff, & when we track a few songs, I would be so happy to find a way to sprinkle your magic over the mix & master :) It's a while off yet though :(

I've got 'No-Script' and some other add-ons - give me a minute to check again.

OK - If I 'temporarily allow' www.alessioromano.com it remains the same.

If I 'temporarily allow' "All on this page", it comes up.

Probably not the typical thing you'd run into.

No problem.

I don't think it will be a problem for your site. Most people don't use script blockers.
