Ahh I was too late! I was going to make a surprise out of it...but that's cool. There's a matching 14"x6.5" snare too but I think Frank's still waiting on the lugs for it.

I WILL enjoy it...I hope UPS hauls ass!

THANKS FRANKY!

Vinnie,

I apologise for that, I should have ask before posting. I really feel bad now.

No worries man! Don't feel bad...you did an amazing job and I know this will be the ultimate dream kit for me...I'm a happy guy!

That's a beaut. Reminds me of the Renown Bubinga. You're going to love it.

Are you selling the Pearl to make room for this?

Sweet new addition. I especially love the reso head on the kick. Congratulations zambizzi.

Yep! But...it was custom made to my specs and comes w/ about 90% less glue in the shells!

Nope, I'll be keeping the Masters kit for those times when I'll be going somewhere too harsh for the Unix kit. You know, when I start playing prisons and biker-gang rallies.

WOW!

Bubinga stave! Nows that's a classy looking kit. I bet it will sound amazing as well.

I'll be looking forward to the set up pictures and sounds.

Really really nice!!!

Thanks Fred!

I'll put up lots of pics, sounds....video? Well, don't hold your breath there. It'll be a long time before I have the nards for that.

Thanks Greg...I had these sizes on the DW kit I sold to pay for these drums...and they were perfect. I ordered the 10" after Frank had finished the rest. I'm not sure where I'll put it but I had to have it!

These babies will be here Monday! The snare will come about a week later, or so...but the rest in just a few days!

whooo hooo!

Awesome drum porn. Thanks for sharing.

Let me know when your kit is ready to play and I'll come to your pad and give it a try. I have never played a stave kit. I will bring my ashikos and Hang drum and we can have a jam session.

Needless to say, you and I will have the two most exotic drum kits in Boise!

Right on, that'd be a great time. I'll have both kits setup in here too, we can do some duet stuff too. Louie is itchin' to get over here and check it out too...I've been talking it up for months now.

You should bring a video camera along so we can share the outcome w/ the bunch here!

This ones gonna be hard to top, Vin ( .....and then whatchagonna do ?..... ; )

Its a beaut, F.

Amazing work! The best aspect is that it looks seamless, and it's stave!

I have only heard a tama bubinga, I am wondering if the thicker staves make it a higher pitched kit?

Meh, I prefer a pink flame wrap, blue hardware and yellow hoops. That's just too classy to look any good. They probably even sound like a comfy leather sofa, 100-year-old Scotch whisky, Cuban cigars and Miles Davis' Birth of Cool. You should definitely get one of these to complement your kit:
