If I were to set my kit up like Bill Bruford's

So I've been looking at some of Bill's kits that he's used over his long career and most of them can be from the basic one rack, two floor setup to the crazy electronic drums, to the symmetrical setup. I hate to be like a Sherlock or so but if you can't tell, I'm a huge Bill Bruford fan from his days in Yes, King Crimson, ABWH, and maybe a small bit of Earthworks. But I would have to be very honest about him, sometimes his setup is very intriguing since it's completely let's just say odd and unusual. Here is a few pictures of what I'm talking about.

Now keep in mind, I'm not planning to set something up like that now but I am just posting this in the event I were to ever do something like that, I would probably get some normal advice here. I'm not chasing his sound even though I a probably secretly am since I'm not going through hell finding Neil Peart's or Mike Portnoy's sounds. I hope this all makes sense and have fun totally not having debates in the comments!

I was a big fan of Bill's sounds up until the "Discipline" record. I particularly like what he did with Roto-toms with U.K. and his first solo group. Very unique, hip and musical. Once he got into the Simmons thing, I lost interest.
