Have any of you tried these products?
What are your thoughts?

Their website is under construction. I like the hoop idea. I am afraid that some drums may be too thick that adding this bearing edg device would cause some heads not to fit.

Nice idea, but they make the drum sound really choked and dead, from the clips I heard on Youtube.

Yes, I imagine that the drum will be choked a bit by them.
