Custom Roulette Kit

Hey All,

Im in the process of designing my kit that im getting from Roulette in Brisbane. I just wanted a hand from you drum experts with the design. Im colour blind so i have a bit of trouble with some finishes.

Im pretty keen on having an aged pearl inlay.
My design at the moment is something like attached. But with the pearl inlay thinner about 10mm, and then i was thinking about having like a 2-3mm gold/brass inlay on either side of that pearl. Im not 100% on the second inlay.

Tell me what you guys recon!

Also, please please please attach other kits you've come across that might have a similar design or even just a design that you really like!

I like a smaller more narrow band of inlay. Otherwise it looks like the drum was made of three pieces. Three separate shell pieces.

I think the inlay should be no wider than this:

This double inlay is OK too:

I love this old bass drum hoop look.

Yeah im looking more at this width. i dont want it too be too chunky.

Overall im wanting the kit to look modern mixed with bling but have a slight retro/vintage inspiration, hence the aged white pearl.

Those kits are beautiful.

I like the thin band in the middle of the drum and not at one end.

Yeah same mate, i like it alot better, however i still think the offset is cool :)

I keep coming across so many different designs and i really want to blend it all together somehow! Help! I want to try and blend a really dark stain and have it look awesome with the gold hardware

Not that I am in the market for it , just giving my opinion. I think the thin inlay in the middle is nice and classy (although the same inlay further down is nice but I think I would get tired of it).
The darker color wood you like with the thin inlay may be a little too much though.

Yeah fair enough man :)

I placed my order for it on Wednesday. Gunna be a dark Walnut fade with aged white pearl inlay. 50% offset lugs and gold hardware. Keen is an understatement. Now gotta wait 3 months haha.

Thanks for all your input guys! Really appreciate it :)

And snare is gunna be a 14x7 natural finish with the pearl inlay. I cant stand matching snare drums.
