Default K Mastersounds

In my quest for better cymbals, I have stumbled upon the K Mastersounds.
I personally love them. I love the sound they make, the characteristic Mastersound chick to 'em, and the fact that I know that K's will have a pretty sweet resale value.

I'm just concerned about whether or not they would fit my playing very well.
I play rock, mostly alternative and progressive, but I just really love dark cymbals.
Do you think that I'll be able to play in a potential band situation with these?
I love them, but I would just really hate for nobody else to be able to hear them.

Also: What are your opinions on K Mastersounds? They could never hurt...

They will project fine; the only cymbals that don't are the dry kind.

They are interesting sounding hi hats; I found mine to be a little too limiting in application....so I had all of the Zildjian artists sign them at NAMM. I still use them on occassion though. Right now my main pair of hi hats a are a pair of Ks.

I switched from A's to K's and won't be going back any time soon. Dark cymbals mix very well when mic'd. They may not be as loud as the A's but they sound great.

I play K mastersounds, K hybrid crash, K light ride and K crash with this music:

One of my 'K to A switch' influences was Riley Breckenridge from thrice. He plays all dark cymbals as well. Listen to any of their live videos or any recordings off the Alchemy Index records.
