Anyone messing around on wikiloops? A guy I know has his drums all mic'd up nicely and says he's having a blast "collaborating" with strangers online. I haven't looked at it in detail yet since I'm still working on my chops, but it sounds interesting.
I did find one old post about this topic where most responses were negative, as though people wanted to steal your drumming for free. Now that we are firmly in Youtube times, maybe people are seeing it differently.
