That's an original way of presenting clichés! I wonder how many of us have tried something similar with the TV?

The people who are best at finding original ways to present cliches are, of course, those of us who write for TV. I mean, that's our whole job.

Words of wisdom from the first meeting I ever had with a producer, way back in the day:

"What you've written here is bright, fresh, and original. Unfortunately, what we in TV are looking for is something that's dull, stale, and cliche-ed done in a bright, fresh, and original manner."

I almost admire the makers of this video for learning this lesson so early in their careers.
