I bought this a year ago and love it. FYI I only paid 139.99 on Amazon for it back then. Very sturdy with several "extra" pockets. I put 6 boom cymbal stands, a snare stand, 6 floor tom legs, 2 stick depots, and a tambourine in it PLUS extra accessories (towel, cymbal felts, extra wing nuts, etc...)
Another option is if you can find a used KATA Hexabag 3. Has a trolley insert so you can roll it. Designed for photo/video light stands, but makes an awesome gear bag. It also comes in two shorter versions as well.
I use these by Gator. http://www.gatorcases.com/p/119118-956/gp-hdwe-1436
They are 36" wide and they fit sideways in the cargo area of my Hyundai Elantra Touring wagon. I have 4 of these; One for each of my gig kits. They fold down to a small size that fits into my bass drum bag with my other drum bags while my kit is set up at a gig.
