I'm curious about your opinion :)

All the Best

Even if every third person has an SQ2, I don't think anyone has one like yours. Play it happily and with pride!

Bad@$$ set man! Dang it's beautiful lol

Any chance of getting all that clutter out the way so we can see that fantastic finsh???? :)

Much much better!!!!!!!!!!

I love everything about your kit, but personally I can't stand the finish. But that's ok offcourse, you're the only one that has to love it, and obviously there are more people that love it :). Most important thing is that you can finally sound the way you want and have all the options you want when you're drumming.

Hi Kalma

Amazing kit!!!, the finish is stunning and the sound may be impressive too!

Personally don´t have experience with beech wood. What do you find in beech sound over traditional maple??

thanks in advance, and congratulations!

Gustavo

Thanks for the replies!

I never thought So many people like that finish :)

@Frank0072 i can understand your dislikes.
The finish is very(!) special i think and relly needs to be wanted.. (makes sense?)

And as you said; i have to like itm;) :)
And i love it. I think a sq2 is an unique and special set and need to have a special and also unique finish.
I know only 2 persons who use and like this finish.

@gus:
What do I find in beech wood against maple:
I soundchecked a few sets at a store.. And for me the beech wood shells have a more "bassy", what i like very much. It makes the sound a bit more full and warm i think!
Maple is a classic wood of course, but i liked to try sth new.
Also i was convinced to hear some nervy overtones in the maple shells. (Maybe just a delusion...)

I'm going to upload a little soundcheck file today!

Thanks!!

Hey Kalma- now seeing more of the drums- I actually hate the finish up close.

But love it from a distance! I guess its like a Monet- get too close to his work and you see its just a collection of smudges and crap. Yet step back and you see the whole picture.

It will look fantastic on stage under lights etc

I definitely like the looks of this kit. You also certainly have the right kit for your playing and abilities. Great little sound clip as well. I love the LS-10. I use one of those myself. It does such a great job of capturing high-volume stuff without clipping. Great on-board preamps.

welcome to the SQ2 club.....hope you love em as much as I....theryre wonderful instruments.

Very nice Kalma !! That finish is so cool , ... I just wish they would offer a few different color combos like they have with the "Tribal". Also, I think Sonor should of done the edges of your bass hoops in black or green.
