I just picked up this Rogers kit in a silver sparkle finish. Here are the details....
8x12 Tower, Cleveland
16x16 Holiday, Dayton
14x20 Tower, Cleveland
5x14 Luxor, Cleveland
The snare is actually a faded gold sparkle. The kit is all original and very clean.

Beautiful set..! Quick question, the tom that you have in a stand, did you use a standard snare stand or did you have to get a concert one thats a bit taller?

I''ll speak out of turn here and answer. If you look at the bottom of both drums they are almost level. In most cases a reg. snare stand will work.
That set is lovely. A band member, high school band, had a new set in 1965 that all of us were drooling over.

Awesome thanks. I asked because my father has a 60's Gretsch round badges set but the tom mount is made for a righty and I play left handed. If I can manage to steal those from him I'd need a snare stand to hold the tom.

"69 Rogers WMP. with K Cons... pic with the Luddies has a "55 Slingy snare, the other pic a Slieshman snare. I used to play Dynasonics years ago but haven't had one for a while now, just haven't come across one to use. The Slingerland snare sounds pretty good with this kit though.

Oh man that's killer stuff. I have a vintage Pearl from the 70s that's a blue sparkle but I'd trade it in to have a Rogers from the 60s.

Hey paradiddle pete, you used to hang out around MX, right?
