I've been working on getting my spd-sx ready to take over for my spd-s. I'm disheartened that the adjustable master effect only functions globally and cannot be assigned on a per kit basis. FX1 and FX2 can be assigned on a perkit basis but will not make use of the control knobs to adjust the effect on the fly. Anybody have any ideas why roland would make it like this? And more importantly, anyone have a way of using varying effects that you can use the control knobs live with on different kits live without having to change the effect in the menu on stage?
