Best riser for an 18x16 kick?

I just won a bop kit that has no riser included.

Which one is the best/best value? I've never used one before.

I just got one of those Dixson "The Lift" risers for my 18 inch kick- light, small, so far it seems to work great. I had a little bop kit a few years back that I used a Gibralter lift on and it worked fine too.

Yes, the Dixson is great. Simple and works well.
The Gibraltar is a complete P.O.S. in my experience. Been through two of them.

It will not stay on the hoop, the bolts that attach to the hoop will not stay on, AND they will destroy the hoop eventually. The vibration of the pedal/bass drum through the floor eventually loosens up everything. Stay away. The Gibraltar bass drum riser is the worst thing they make IMHO.
