Good question. I found two other postings of the video and they both say it is from 1989.

Interesting. Player on left, I assume that's Max, uses matched grip and player on right uses traditional with very sloppy left hand. If my student used that I would rap his nuckles. The hair is a killer (I'm just jealous).

Hahaha! Whole lotta fail going on in that video. Was it played well? Yes, entertaining but here's my dealy-o...the original drummer playing trad and it looks PAINFUL...looks like they got NASCAR'S Richard Petty playing lead, and you got your rhythm guitarist sitting on a stool the whole time. One and done.
