Tama Speed Cobra double pedal problem!

i have some Tama SC's and just recently the spring broke! i dont know why, i was wondering if this has happened to any other SC owners??

Things happen, it' a spring and they can break regardless of the pedal. Most guys keep spares with them in case of emergency. I wouldn't be too worried about it, head to the shop, pick up a new spring (or 2) and all is good. Might have just had a weak spot in the metal of the spring allowing it to break.

this happened to me a couple weeks ago... maybe their new springs have some sort of flaw ... cheap fix though .. it's only a couple bucks for a spring

thats what i was thinking, i read that this has happened to other SC's as well? ill just head down to my local music store and see if they have any in stock.
