I think I agree with that. Not underappreciated but certainly written off by many as a basic drummer lacking in technique and skill. I feel that couldn't be further from the truth. He was absolutely magical at coming up with the right feel, delivering it with crazy time feel and consistency. His tone and sound was wonderful, a revolution. I think Im just writing this as a lecture to my younger dumber self. Beautiful drumming, something that appeals to me more as I age over the flash and razzle dazzle.

That would be Gregg on the drums. Saw him in a clinic a few monthes back. Great drummer and story teller

One of the few top-drummers that is not taking himself that seriously, at least thats always the impression that he gives me..

Looks like a decent amount of people for the All Starr Band, but i wonder if Mr. Starkey still remembers his audiences from 50 years ago..

I guess things will never get more crazy than that..
