Oooh, my ears are ringing just looking at that thing. Did it come with a set of earplugs? I'd call the neighbors before I play that one.

Well your snare shows mine up just a bit... 12 x 5.5 Soprano Steel snare.

6.5X14 Tama Starclassic quilted maple- without and with flash. I never saw a Starclassic quilted maple in yellow until I found this one on eBay. One look and I knew I had to have it!

Thank you :). It's one of my three pride and joys...I also have an SJC custom in 14x8 maple acrylic hybrid and a spaun custom 15x5.5. But this baby is by far my favorite production line snare drum that I have ever owned. I would have to say my SJC is the real centerpiece of my collection, but I really love this tama as well...It gets a LOT of studio use, that's for sure.

Not the prettiest or newest but very reliable and versitile is my 1996 HAND HAMMERED POWER METAL BRONZE SNARE 5.5x14.

It was my first quality drum, I had a rock star kit at the time I bought it so it was always the best part of my kit. I have a DW now and still use it for most everything though I dont travel with it much. The strainer isnt what it used to be, anybody know where to get a dunnett or trick retrofit kit for a tama 4 hole strainer? Any help apprieciated

I think the Tama hammered bronze is a great metal drum. I have one, too.

Here's my early 80's superstar. Its sounds awesome!

There is something about Tama snares that is just so appealing. Particularly the Starclassic line. The combination of the stubby, solid-looking lugs, the die-cast hoops and their spectacular quilted and sparkle finishes just tie the drums perfectly together from a design point of view. If they sound half as good as they look they should be amazing drums.

Tama Artwood Maple 13x6,5

Wow I love your SiPhi collection Philippe ! I dig their batter heads too ;-)

Very, very, very nice :)

thanks a lot!!! and they're being played all the time, these two (pics were made after I tuned them!). on our new CD it's only Monarch and Gladiator.

I switched from Remo Amba coated to Aquarian Texture coated half a year ago and have never regreted it for a second!

next is The Pageant, but I'm out of money right now...
