Hi all!

I have kind of an urgent need for information, cause theres a dealine to place my order on an online shop...

I need to know if the:

DW puppy bones model SM2031 (http://www.dwdrums.com/factoryaccessories/fa.asp?sKITNAME=dwsm2031)

and

DW cymbal tilter clamp model SM2034 (http://www.dwdrums.com/factoryaccessories/fa.asp?sKITNAME=dwsm2034)

FIT on a TAMA HC73BWM Roadpro Boom Stand

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/drums-percussion/tama-hc73bwm-roadpro-boom-stand

The DW hardware/puppy bones will only fit 1/2" (12.7mm), but Im not sure if they fit a TAMA Roadpro stand.

Can someone please give me a 100% sure answer about this?

Anyone uses these cymbal adapters on a TAMA Roadpro stand?

THANKS!!!!

12.7mm is an industry standard boom size, so it *should* work. But I have no firsthand experience with Tama stands.

If you want to make sure it works, you could stay with the same brand. Tama makes a similar boom attachment holder:

Thanks a LOT for the comments and suggestion! Im already checking prices for that Tama hardware.

I have just measured my Tama Roadpro boom arm with a precision tool, and its exactly 12.0mm thick.

Both Gibraltar and DW cymbal tilters are 12.7mm.

Do you folks believe its a GOOD fit or I might have problems?

Maybe I could wrap a littel piece of paper to make the boom thicker??

I wouldn't. After all, it's your pies on there... I personally wouldn't want $200 of bronze flopping around unexpectedly.

Does anyone know if I can use my dw collectors series toms on my tama RoadPro multi clamps?

I know that answer, and that is no. DW tom mounts are 1/2" (12.5mm?) Tama's tom mounts are 10.5mm.

What I have done, because I use DW harware with my Tama drums, is to replace one of the tom arms on a DW 9900 double tom stand. It's how I set my toms up.

Yeah, those sizes won't work. L-rods attached to balls are available online easily in 9.5, 10.5, and 12.5mm, and it's also easy enough to switch out those parts on clamps.
