Default Jan Hammer (?)

The King of the Keytar....and also a great drummer. Listening to his composition "Blue Wind" on Jeff Beck's Wired album and he's just killing it on the skins.

I'm curious what else he's drummed on, besides that cheesy music video from the 1980s with Neil Schon.

Check out Country and Eastern Music, by Jan Hammer and Jerry Goodman. I think Jan plays drums on the entire album. He's a really good drummer. He's ridiculously good for a keyboardist who spends about 1% of his musical time playing drums.

He's a bad mofo. Genius musician. He plays drums on Jeff Beck's Wired album in addition to the C&E Music album mentioned above. He's the drummer on Blue Wind which is no easy track to play, although Jan did write it. Narada and Richard Bailey are on drums on the other tracks of the album. I feel fortunate to have seen him twice. Once with Mahavishnu and once with Tony Williams.

Yep, Jordan Rudess, Fernando Saunders on bass. My buddy Rick Bell (sax) played with Fernando in one of Lou Reed's bands.
