Default Song covers

I got a zoom Q3 and i recorded myself playing a song but I cant figure out how to put that song and my playing together. I downloaded Audacity but when I uploaded any mp3s they just came out as white noise. What do I do?

Jazz and funk mainly. Is there a free editing program that will let me put to audio files on top of each other?

You're trying to record video+audio with the Q3 while playing along to music from your PC? If so, I'd imagine that the Q3 has an input jack and a headphone out jack correct? If so, run a line from your PC out to the Q3 in, and then headphones out from the Q3. Make sure the levels are good (or can the Q3 mix?), hit play on the PC, then Record on the Q3.

If you just care about audio, then plug the Q3 into the PC via USB, load up the song you want to play in Audacity and hit Record (in Audacity).

Disregard what I said, I just checked the Q3 manual, and it doesn't look like it has an input jack.

Most video editing software lets you layer tracks on top of others. I've been using Microsoft's freebie "Windows Live Movie Maker'. You'll have to practice getting the track to line up properly, but it isn't too hard.

Is that just the normal movie maker that comes already installed on a PC?
