Default Drummers that live in New York

Hi,

Does anyone know which of the 'drummerworld drummers' drummers live in New York city? I would like to ask for lessons. I am mainly looking for jazz/fusion drummers.

Merci,

Dave

Mike Clark, Jimmy Cobb, Terry Silverlight, Camille Gainer, Adam Cruz, Ari Hoenig, John Riley, Dafnis Prieto, Paul Motian, Antonio Sanchez. Also check out Drummer's Collective, Kim Plainfield, Pat Petrillo, Ian Froman, Vince Cherico. There are a lot of guys in NJ as well: Joe Morello, Joe Bergamini, Horatio Hernandez, Bernard Purdie, Tommy Igoe, Pat Petrillo, and I think Bill Stewart. There area lot of guys on the Island: Dom Famularo, Matt Wilson, John Favicchia or Frank Bellucci come to mind. Roy Haynes lives on the island as does Ben Riley; but I don't think either teaches.

We used to have this great drum teacher named Phil; but he has forsaken us, well for the time being . . .:)

Phil, man, when you comin' back?
