Default Jam space

Up here in Montana there are not a large number of options for practice space. Me and the guys with strings and shit are thinking about renting a storage unit. How concerned shoutl I be about storing my drums in a non-climate controlled space? Its not a fancy kit, birtch PDP but its the only one I have.During the summers its dry and temp ranges from 60 to 90.
The trails are my church, my bike is my pew.

If your kit is wrapped, I'd be concerned about the heat in the summer.

I have a kit that has spend 5 years in an environment like that (but worse, since the dryer vents into the garage it is stored in).

I would recommend getting a cheep beater kit to put in there, one of the $50 specials from Craig's list and just cart your snare back and forth.
