orchestral Percussionists read this

I have played one of these at a local music shop here in town. It's nothing to write home about, but it's a good deal on a cheap xylophone. The case is pretty cool. It doesn't sound spectacular, but it gets you in the ballpark.

I have a pit xylo from the 60s which runs on the same principle...extremely portable and no resonators. The difference is the keys on mine are made of rosewood, and there is a WORLD of difference in sound. You should try to find one of those...they pop up from time to time at about the same price as this new one. Well worth it, in my opinion. But, if you need something to get by right now, snag one of the Staggs...
