show off your custom drums!

I want to see more Guru and Bellweather stuff! You guys are nuts...that stuff is amazing.
Hey Dennis, thanks for the props. Been checking out your stuff too, really nice, & delivered with thought & flair. Love the Dragon snares, & the funky DMX kit is very cool indeed. We've got some very exciting stuff in the pipeline too! Good luck with everything mate :)

..drum porn at it's finest.http://staufferpercussion.com/steam-bent-14x7-maple-snare-abalone-inlay/

Yep!..would have to agree!..tha's a sweet drum you got there!

Here's the latest one from Bellwether! It's a 14X6.5 made out of bolivian rosewood it has maple and zebrawood re-rings and a modified and polished Trick strainer with zircote cap and knob for the strainer. This is easily the most sensitive snare drum that I have ever made.

The colour is absolutely stunning! Quite rounded edges I see - nice, makes the best out of the shell tone. How thick is that stave shell? Looks quite thin, not much more than 1/4"? Lovely looking drum, & I really like your signature treatment of the Trick strainer.

Thank you! Yes this wood is absolutely gorgeous. I agree with you on the edges, the round over really brings out natural the woody tone of the shell. You are very close on the thickness. It is actually 5/16" thick.
