Default Have you seen anything like this before?

I haven't seen anything quite like this.

I'm not much of a drumhead and usually prefer a range of instruments, but I found this vid interesting and original, and the guys look like they're having fun ...

That was pretty unique as far as drum duets go. But I was wondering when the explanation would eventually happen.

When Tommy Lee first attempted to go solo from Motely Crue, he hired Steve Perkins to be in his band, and they had a set up with a similar idea, in that it one drum set that could be played by two people, with shared drums/cymbals.

But the Lee/Perkins set up was all ddrum electronic pads, and I don't think they shared a hi-hat.

Anyway, that's a fun video you found Polly.

Reminds me of one of the 4 handed piano routines. Liked the tube in the air vent hole also. Saw this in a clinic with Felipe Torres I believe. Tube in the air vent hole blow hard and increase the tone.
