That sentence is tough to read without any commas!

I don't know of an app that would analyze every possible combination of 8th notes for 4/4 (or any time signature). More importantly, I'm not sure there's any value in that.

I practice resolution points all the time, and cycle through all of the 8th notes with different limbs, and it's great practice, but I can't think of why anyone would want to see every possible combination of 8th notes in a measure of 4/4.

I'd recommend sticking with the rudiment sheet, because this is a highly complex problem.

8x3 has 56 combos and 336 perms... 3336 if you iterate an accent, 30K if you add doubles and triples.

Grab the (52?) rudiment sheet. Iterate the accent. Iterate the starting note. Iterate the leading hand. Modulate.

In bash, you could do something like:

Code:
set={R1,R2,R3,L1,L2,L3,r1,r2,r3,l1,l2,l3}
group=8
for ((i=0; i<$group; i++));
do
  repetition=$set$repetition
done
bash -c "echo "$repetition""
three surfaces. Accented and non accented...
