Please help with this transcription.

I'm currently transcribing Max Roach's trades and solo on Jordu, it's going pretty smoothly but there's this little bit that I just cannot for the life of me figure out, can someone please help me out here?

It's at 5:55. Sounds like sextuplets grouped in four notes, the video should start around there.

That's what it sounds like to me, what I'm having trouble is figuring out where they fall, I'm pretty certain the first one starts on the "and" of 1 and the next phrase (bunch of 16ths after the ruffs) begins at the "and" of 3 in the next bar, but I'm having trouble allocating the ruffs in the bar, these would be sextuplets right? I'm thinking of them as triplets doubled up.

The big note of the ruff- on the floor tom- is landing on the dotted quarters. He plays it pretty open, so I'd probably notate it as a 16th note triplet. Or you could just write it as a standard 4-stroke ruff.http://0.tqn.com/d/np/rock-drums/183-1.jpg

Thanks guys, I ended up notating them as 16th note triplets, the correct rhythm is probably not correct but hopefully it still gets the idea across.
