Post your link on this thread.

Not your top 5,
not your best 3
....just 1-
that you think is the impactful thing you every heard on drums.

Could be a known guy, an unknown, the guy next door... metal, polka, jazz... 1927, 37, 2017 whenever/whatever..

BUT JUST 1 that you think is the bees knees

The best, really tough ... Whenever there is Joe Morello on drums, it's aweseome, jaw-dropping. Same with Simon Phillips and Steve Jordan. Hmmm... But I'll go with Keith Carlock this time, 'cause it's groovy, entertaining, creative, simply put: great drumming - and really 100% drum solo and not a part of any other musical performance.

Awesome!- Another player out of my bag of favorites.. Would be interesting to see a variety of musical opinions, though

Some people display a tremendous lack of humour.... :p

(That hihat-problem could have happened to anyone with any brand - of course)

Wtf? Who is this maniac?

That's probably the most impressive series of solos I've ever seen. That ending where he lays down that monster groove is epic.

Lol yep, a friend of mine calls him a caveman probably because of his energy and very expressive facial contortions ;D
Did you notice Mike Mangini in the audience.

Yeah, his name is Dave Dicenso. He's an astonishing player and teacher. He's professor of drums at Berkley I believe. http://www.drummerworld.com/drummers/Dave_DiCenso.html

Abe! Great to "see" you!

Picking just one is a tall order, but...I'll see your Novak and raise you a Tain:

Jason, my man! Hope all goes good with you... Im a very occasional & random presence here now, but I do miss some of you special folk!

Oh yes of course. This is a classic! I always thought of JTW as the Charlie Parker of drums... doesn't help that theres a physical resemblance too..give or take a few pounds.
