Default Removing Logos

Just wondering if I'm the only person who dislikes all cymbal logos? I have HHX evolution and I have removed all the logos using BKF.

Never bothered me one way or the other. One consideration for leaving them intact is that re-sale value is reduced for a number of buyer's who feel it's important to keep a cymbal original.

I remove the top logos on my cymbals; they're so big now I feel like I'm playing a billboard. I love Sabian but they're one of the worst offenders in the logo size war.

I'm hoping it'll start swinging back the other way soon, since they're already shrinking them on some of their lines. Just not the ones I play. LOL!

I like the logos, I always try to avoid them when cleaning. Most of my cymbals are now 12 to 14 years old, some logos are getting a bit faded and worn and the brilliant finish is starting to get a bit dull so as soon as I can swing it I plan to take them back to Sabian for a polish and reprint.

That was my problem. They should pay me to have a logo not the other way round! Sabian logo is cheap looking as well imo. Zildjian K isn't too bad I guess

I like the logo itself just fine, I just think they've become too large for my taste.

As these anniversary cymbals remind us, there was a time when the logo didn't take up 2/3 of the top of the cymbal...

I miss this look...

I like logos. I try to keep them intact. I just sent a cymbal back to Sabian and it came back with smaller logos than original.

I've been thinking the same way and was planning to remove my AAX logos from my ride and hats.. But for some reason my band's frontman wanted to kill me for it and yelled:
"It's like if i removed the Fender logo from mine!"

He did make a point somehow.

It depends on the logo I guess. If I had Zildjian Constantinoples I would leave them, but they are small and classy. Sabian HHX that I have are just crude
