Default Any Halloween pics?

This is me playing drums in a scary rubber mask. It was weird. It went over well. I'm glad I don't have to do THAT every gig. My sympathies to you Bo.

The other 2 are supposed to be Robert Palmer and his chick band in the the "Addicted to Love" video. I passed on the dress and makeup, now that would have been disturbing.

Yes I have to agree it would have been very disturbing!

Hell Yea!!! Lets do it! We'll let Mr Funpants here drive...

Ok, I kid. I love Halloween for exactly that reason. It allows me to express my youthful exuberance. Now that twenty-somethings like me have made their own niche in the holiday it has also become a time to play gigs to busy venues and go out and get drunk. I always use a DD though, we have some of the stiffest DUI laws here in AZ.

Halloween makes me look forward to having kids because then I can settle back to enjoying the holiday as I did when I was young. I'll get dressed up and take the kids trick-or-treating and have a great time. Then I'll leave them with the sitter and go play my late night gig at the local bar. 2 days later we take them to go visit their passed relatives for Dia de los Muertos. Ahh... something about the start of the holiday season that just puts me in a great mood.

Larry, sadly I have no pics to share. I played a gig on Friday but I don't think anyone snapped pictures.

Good stuff Larry. Trust Pol to get in with that one first eh :) Your "costume" hit the mark Larry, but the other two were a bit lame by comparison. Bet the music was good though. Did you get The Munsters theme in the set?

As for the dress idea, best not discussed, lol!

As a slight curve, we're playing a fan booked gig next month. The theme is "Rock Sluts"! 180 girls having a big party. How do you think we should dress for that? (BTW, pictures will be for sale, starting at $9:99 depending on the depravity rating ;) ;)

Oh man, it would have to be the uber-cheesy '70s Vegas porn-guy look for me - big side burns, thick moustache, bell-bottoms, with too much chest hair (fake?), gold jewelry and cheap cologne!

Yes, it was a bit of a gimme ... someone had to do it!

I have an idea for you, Andy. Wear tight pants (pref leather) and a shirt with the sleeves cut off - rough cut - showing off the glistening, sweaty muscles on your shoulders :) A Spinal Tap wig would help.

Either that or the band could dress as KISS or Led Zep, The Stones, or any band famous for carrying on with groupies after the show.

Sorry for the slight general costume hijack Larry :) Mike, I can cope with everything there, but one thing bothers me, BELL-BOTTOMS VS. BASS DRUM PEDAL BEATER!!!!

My band had to cancel our gig this last saturday night due to a freak snowstorm here in New England! I was trying to find a costume that I could play in all night long and not die in so I was going to wear one of those colorful hats that has attached dread locks and a tie-dyre t shirt. If we re-schedule I will post some pics.
Larry, were you sweating with that mask on? I actually thought of getting a Joey Jordison mask to wear but thought it would be to hot, I sweat a lot when I play.

No Halloween pics from me, but I figured this might be worth posting:

Megadeth performing Public Enemy #1 on Jimmy Kimmel in monster costumes. Notice Shawn Drover as the drumming vampire :-)

I'm thinking you should go for the Tommy Lee look. Drives the ladies wild.

I don't have any Halloween gig pics, but this has been my costume for the last few years.

Well I went as ridiculous 70's dude.

The first pic is of me and my wife.

The second pic is of me and Sister Gwen - sort of says it all, doesn't it.

We did three sets and I had to take the wig off in the middle of set two. My head was overheating at probably around 106 degrees and I almost had a stroke.

My band wasn't into dressing up in halloween costumes at our gig a couple weeks ago, but I did string a bunch of candy corn colored lights along my drum rack, and attached a stuffed Tazmanian Devil to the front of the kit. Unfortunately I don't think I got any pics of it.

My main complaint was air, the mouth slit was just slit. I am used to being hot and wet and uncomfortable (working in attics in August, will condition you for that) but I really like my air lol.

Plus my peripheral vision was badly compromised and I was told my meter was drifting, but I didn't hear anything major on playback. It really did affect me, I played like that for 2 nights, the first night wasa loud room, I had to play quietly, and I was told my snare was too loud. I lost some sensitivity in my hearing and playing for sure. By the end of the night it was crowded enough to not be a loud room anymore, but in the beginning of the night, I was having a little trouble. I never realized how much I depend on not having my head covered up to play proper drums lol.

I've done the 'banana suit'. I had a friend at Uni that owned one and there were many pictures of me just chilling in the banana costume.

Just trying to see if I measure up. Obviously I don't.

I grabbed her hand. Her expression is priceless

It's ok. He was on a mission from God.

Incidentally Andy, I would make sure that whatever you do you have socks in your trousers.
