Default Great deal on new Yamaha kit recording customs.

Had a really nice set if Yamaha absolutes stolen a few years back. Always loved Yamaha and recently picked up a kit for a phenomenal deal I believe. Though at first I was not real excited about the color, but I picked up a brand new set recording customs in the surf green color. They were sitting in the store for a while and I shopped there a lot. Brand new. I got them for $2,000 which to me is a complete steal. Sizes 10 inch 12 in 16 inch floor 22 bass drum. I am surprised how really nice these drum sound. The guy who on the store just said he was glad that finally somebody use their head, and bought this nice drum set. I got it just in time for Christmas to myself. Considering I never buy anything for myself, I figured it was a pretty decent gift.

Nice! Snap some pictures when you can.

What snare will you be using? If money is tight, the new (2017 and newer) Stage Custom steel snares are surprisingly good.

Yep, a great price on a really nice kit.

But you know the routine - "Pics or it didn't happen".

Trying to figure out how to convert the picture on my Android to a URL so I can post a picture as far as the snare, the guy that I bought the drumset from he also makes drums and I picked up one of his snares which is a solid Walnut snare

I'm thinking about ordering the 14 floor. And then I'm done for a little while

Just an FYI, the RC birch drums go very well with Remo pinstripe heads!

Man - I bet that's a nice sounding setup. The snare looks really good too.
