Default K custom Splash stacking

Will a 8" K custom Dark splash go well if I stack it below an 18" K dark MT crash? Can't go on top cuz of the bell size.

Have you... tried it? If it sounds good to you, then it sounds good. Personally, I haven't had much luck with crashes over splashes, but if the splash is relatively flat-profile, it could work.

No not yet. I already have the K Crash cymbal. I'm just checking if anyone has tried it before I buy the splash.

I know a lot of people have had success in crash/splash stacks with the Meinl Classics Custom 12" Trash Splash. It's pretty inexpensive too, though the bell might also not be big enough to go over top of the Zildjian. Usually, I recommend at least one cymbal with a hole in it for stacks due to their elimination of airlock from the stack, but you might disagree.

Yeah, those crashes with holes are great stacks. I live in Brunei and Zildjian cymbals aren't easy to be found in music shops. I like the sound of stacked cymbals more than a china.
