I got in for my first day at NAMM and happened to run into Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffet demo-ing some drums. I was testing out the Zoom Q2n to see how well it would handle random recordings, and I think it did pretty good. The audio it picked up was what I heard, and in decent light on a convention show floor, the picture looks great at 720p. The camera is so small it made a cool addition to my gear. I was carrying a tiny Canon SL-1 with 24mm pancake lens for my still photographs, and the little Zoom for whatever video I happened to be able to shoot. This is a great video camera so far!
Check out the video - it would've been great if the fat guy in the red shirt just moved away about two feet. I probably would've told him to back off if I was playing. Who has people standing right in front of your kit when you play?
