The photos are small but it looks like a more recent Export series (2000 and beyond), they are better than their predecessors (circa 1990's).
The Exports were Pearl's better quality entry level line for years and a big seller, that was my first kit. They were phased out a few years ago in favor of the Vision line, however Pearl kept the "Export" name briefly and created an intermediate line called the Export Custom (ECX) which were actually really well made drums. The ECX became a higher quality consumer line that was affordable and I think at the time it was maybe intended to replace the retired Session series (which has since been reintroduced). ECX was short lived and retired within a couple years.
Yours look like the last version of Export by the looks of the EX badge. Pearl's Joey Jordison signature kit was an EX model. They were made in China at one of the "big three" factories there. For the most part I believe the EX's are made of poplar. I would say if your seller is including the cymbals, hardware and pedals etc, then yeah $600 is a pretty good deal.
