Love the 1-up, 2-down setup. Two big rumbling floor toms, comfortable cymbal placement and a classic look all in one.

Here are my Saturns. 12x9 rack tom, 16x16 and 18x16 floor toms, 24x18 kick. Big sizes for a big sound!

An hour after unpacking the kit for the first time:

Just picked up my new kit in my favorite configuration, 1 up 2 down. Mapex Mydentity with a 12x14 rack, 16x26 kick, 16x16 and 16x18 floor toms. To go with the kit I picked up a set of Paiste 2002s, 24 ride, 18 crash, 18 medium crash, 20 crash and 15 SE hats. I use a JoJo Mayer PB bass drum pedal and I'm using the Gibralter Stealth rack system to support all my cymbals, rack tom and snare. I find it's not too much rack for the configuration and keeps the rack tom in place no matter how hard I play.

Here's my Mapex Saturn, usually played as a 3 up, 1 down, but in it's 1 up 2 down configuration. Enjoy!

Today I just discovered that I could mount my 13" rack tom in the position of a floor tom. It's nice having another voice on the kit.

Scored a, like new, 10" matching tom for my 57 bop kit. Played around with a possible setup for the 12" tom. Not sure I want to mount it up like a conventional 5 piece kit. Pretty happy with just having it a, 10, 14, 18. If I did add the 12 on the side it would not use a snare stand. I'd attach to a heavy weight stand.

I like a 2 tom setup, but I'm looking seriously at getting a 20" bass drum to add to the shell kit.

I like the one tom idea like Matt Halpern. I call that the A-tom bomb kit LOL.
