If it was 1988 then yes, this color would be most popular.

I don't know, Underhill; I think yellow is TIMELESS! Don't forget that two jazz greats, Mr. Tony Williams and Mr. Elvin Jones, both played canary yellow kits for a reason! Plus, it has been scientifically proven that one's playing and appearance behind the kit improve exponentially if the drums are yellow. Don't ask me to cite my source--I forgot the name of the scholar and journal.
 
That's why so many people still play yellow kits..... and I believe I read that same journal hahaha. My blue kit makes me play worse, wait that's just me.
 
dennis chambers played a yellow pearl kit for quite sometime as well. that's a sweet kit RobertM. i'm a huge fan of birch kits, and i played on a set of RC's before...such a nice set to play on.
