Drumming songs that put you in a great mood?

What songs get the adrenalin flowing?

I just listened to LIttle Feat's Hate To Lose Your Lovin' and that song puts me in such a good mood.

Actually most LIttle Feat's catalog does that to me.

Also The Tubes.

Up From The Deep.
Haloes.
Space Baby.

A combination of melody and passionate drumming feeding off the vibe of the song.
Both those bands shoulda been bigger than Jesus.

Absolute incredible stuff.

Substitute by the Who.

The "man throwing a drum kit down stairs" fill always makes me smile.

Just pure exuberance and enthusiasm. Mr Moon, I still miss you. No one like him.

The Abbey Road medley (side 2) played on any 1960s Ludwig set,

Mean Mr. Mustard
Polyethene Pam
Bathroom Window
Carry That Weight
The End

p.s. Good topic!

I have listened to the Feat since the early 70's ,and have been lucky enough to see them live afew times, with and without Lowel George.Richie Hayward is one of my favorite drummers of all time, and yep.......listening does put a smile on my face "Old Folks Boogie"in particular.

Anything Beatles,especially Sgt.Peppers,Let it Be,and Abby Road.

The Stones "Let it Bleed" album, especially "Gimme Shelter"

I think my all time favorites would be the Who's "My Generation," and in the all time # 1 spot would be "Won't Get Fooled Again"Great spontanious powerful drumming, flamenco power chords, great bass and vocals and.......The best scream in a rock song ever heard, and an ending that still takes your breath away.

When the levee breaks - Led Zep version (drums sound incredible in that song). Did you know that they actually recorded the drums in a large stairwell at Headley Grange?

Also, Josie - Blink 182
