I recently picked up an Alesis DM6 used for $200, which I think is a fair price. I've noticed that the snare is much lower than all other pads, and it seems to be an issue with this model. I've updated the firmware which has helped a bit, but the ride also seems to randomly activate the bell sound even though I'm striking the very edge of the ride. This also seems to be an issue raised by others. I was wondering if it's at all possible to swap the snare with a yamaha or roland snare and also swap the ride for something else? Not sure if the other brands are compatible at all.
